In this message, we explore why God gave the Law—not as a way to earn salvation, but as a response to the salvation He had already provided. God carried Israel “on eagles’ wings,” brought them to Himself, and then invited them to live as His treasured possession and a radically different community that reflects His character to the world. The Law reveals what God delights in, exposes the true condition of our hearts, and ultimately points us to our need for Jesus, whose blood establishes a new covenant and frees us to obey out of love rather than fear. This sermon calls us to examine our lives, embrace our identity as God’s people, and live in a way that displays His holiness and grace to those around us.
