Luke 9:57-62
This is the final week of the DNA Series. This series is meant to remind us who we are and what we are about as a church. Week 1 we said we need to Be the Branch. We failed at being the vine, so Christ came and told us He is the true vine. Everything must flow out of our connection with Christ. Week 2 we were reminded that we need to be people that bow low in worship and Empty the Jar. Pour it all out – surrender everything to Him. Week three we said we need to be willing to wreck the roof in order to get people to Jesus. Last week was about the call – We Are Messengers of the Gospel. This week as we celebrate volunteers we look at the cost of following Jesus – Grip the Plow!
